(Remembered by kleptic & Jen Musico)
I have never met another person who remembers this show. Probably because you effers were all busy watching cable.
… magic and wonder are waiting for you! I agree, absolutely no one remembers this show. I’d be in a typical “Remember that one thing from when we were kids?” which in turn would always transition to “Remember that show from when we were kids?”
“Yeah! Masters of the Universe!” “Thundercats!” “Voltron!” “Transformers!” “G.I. Joe!” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!” “Various after school cartoon shows i.e. Tailspin or Darkwing Duck or Gummi Bears.” and if girls were present “My Little Pony” and “Strawberry Short Cake?”
Then I’d bring up “Yeah! Zoobilee Zoo!” ::crickets:: “What’s that?” EXACTLY Whazzat!
They’d ride their train to the next town over (I remember the episode where the town was all black and white or something) and also: Freakin’ Ben Vereen, lol.
The new Hanson song/video, “Thinking ‘Bout Something” is very catchy and enjoyable. There I said it! And you know what? It feels damn good.
Samsies.
I’ve written about this already, but I’ma let it breathe here as well.
Time for an English rant (not necessarily a rant in the English language [although, it is the language in use] nor to be mistaken as a rant by a citizen of England), but please, do correct me if I’m wrong.
A “P.S.” in a letter follows after a letter has been signed. Perhaps the author was hasty in writing the letter and left out a point he or she wanted to include, therefore a postscript (P.S.) is added. Usually, it’s most necessary in a hand written letter. Nowadays, one can type up an email and easily go back.
Breaking down “postscript,” “post” means “following” or “after” and “script” is “text,” therefore: “following-text.” So a “P.S.” is used to indicate text following a body text.
Example:
Dear Delilah,
I’m doing well in Djibouti. The natives have taken me into their homes and welcomed me with the warmest of hearts. I hope all is well in the Hamptons. I will write to you soon.
All my best,
Harold
P.S.
Thank you for the Nestle Toll House cookies. They were delicious. I am such a fat ass.
However, there are times when the author leaves out additional information thought of after completing the letter, “P.S.” included. For that reason, another “P.S.” may be added to include this additional information. However, I’ve noticed that many people make the mistake of writing: “P.S.S.” (postscript script) which doesn’t make sense, at all (unless, the author’s intentions are to highlight and reiterate the postscript). Whereas “P.P.S.” (post postscript), broken down, is “following following-text” or “following postscript.”
Example:
P.S.
Thank you for the Nestle Toll House cookies. They were delicious. I am such a fat ass.
P.P.S.
You’re the devil. It’s your fault that I’m fat.
So, in the future, you know.
Fin.
P.S.
Has anyone seen my Jabberwocky? If you have please let me know.
P.P.S.
P.S.S. = postscript script = text that makes up the postscript; just an afterthought.
P.P.P.S.
Thank you, “P.S.,” («<that “comma” is supposed to be there right? even though there’s a period there; unless, because that period is there, I don’t need a comma? Damn you, Grammar.) for giving me the ability to express my afterthoughts.

I roared with a belly laugh when I read this headline. Could Capitol Records truly be this misguided? Do they not realize that if you were to sort Internet brands by those most emblematic of creativity — not piracy — that Vimeo would line up at the top? Lip-dubbing is harmless and perfectly fun, and ultimately will define the aesthetic of an Internet generation. Other than for some petty legal jockeying towards a greater strategy can I imagine why this record company would try to sink such a potentially valuable lifeline — Lip-Dubbing and Vimeo create tremendous relevance and usefulness for their catalog!
If anything better underlines my point it’s an email I received from Sean Nelson, the frontman of the band Harvey Danger, whose songFlagpole Sitta we’ve now infamously lip-dubbed:
That Flagpole Sitta video made me incredibly happy, just when I thought there was NOTHING that could make me listen to that song again. A thousand thank you’s.Capitol, you’re a bunch of goof-balls. This lawsuit is the tactical equivalent to pooping on someone’s birthday cake.
I, for one, am willing to boycott Capitol artists unless they reconsider, and I implore other labels to work with Vimeo to determine a simple process to make copyrighted music available for personal video.
Please reblog, or honk, if you agree.
I honk so hard for this
I clicked on it to listen and right at the first note I smiled. So good.
My favorite thing about December is Christmas music. All of the music. All of the magic.
Somewhere in my memory from Home Alone (John Williams)
p.s. I love this movie and it was on TV twice this weekend!
